The Masdar
Project
Masdar is an Abu Dhabi’s clean energy company which it’s
owned by Mubadala Development, with two major solar power projects which are
both 100 megawatts solar projects. They’ve chosen the new wind farm to be built
near the Saudi Arabia border because the wind there is better than in the
island it will cost US $200 million. It’s the first wind farm in the farm in
the area to achieve Abu Dhabi goal therefore they are developing the
specialized blades to generates more energy from the light breezes. It’s aiming
7 percent of its power by nine years. The cost of each megawatt of wind power
its considered to be $2m.
